Ricket's Room
When writing, Brollyman retreats to ‘Rickets' Room’ located at the 'family ranch' where the ambience is more rural but the ideas more forthcoming away from the hustle of Parasol City.
The room is equipped with a MacBook Pro hooked-up to an Apple Cinema monitor.
A 600gig drive houses all the samples. Writing is done using Digital Performer.
Soft synths include EZ Drums, Vienna Symphonic Library, Synthogy Ivory, Spectrasonics Omnisphere, Atmosphere, Trilogy & Stylus RMX, Native Instruments Absynth, Battery, Kontakt2 & Vocator.
We also use Chris Stein Horns, East West's Storm Drum & Ethno World4. Reverb again is from Altiverb. Plug-ins include Amplitude 2, Audio Ease Nautilus bundle, Fish fillets, compressor, gate & de-esser, SoundFX Machine, Audio Damage914, Ozone 3, Fab filter, Focusrite Liquid 16, Vintage Audio Compressor, Eiosis Vocoder and Eiosis Air EQ. There’s also a TLA Valve preamp for recording guitars.
